Utility to enumerate printer trays on printers

we have an application running on ts in a 3-tier mode that requires us to

read the printer trays of a printer in order to pass that to a reporting

server machine. Are they any utilities that if you pass a printer name can

return a list of trays or redirect the output to a file that can be read
