Thanks MEB. This newsgroup seems really slow recently. I wonder if many of

the posters have gone on vacation which I am getting ready for and really

excited.

I'm sure that's part of the reason, it happens every year, summer sends

people outdoors as well. Of course the people still using the OS has

diminished, and there are a number of other forums addressing the OS.

Have fun on your vacation..

Re: Malware, nah, just knocking at the door - Malicious web sites

Thanks, I am back and had a great time in New York for a week and then the

second week at Camp Stoney in Santa Fe, New Mexico and it was lots of fun.

However, flying back on American Airlines from New York, I ran into one very

rude lady and she had me put my bag in a small baggage container and then

seemed very amused that I had difficulty in removing the bag and told me to

make sure I bring a smaller bag in the future because the metal containers

are just going to get smaller. It certainly makes me want to travel by

bullet train like they have in Europe or like the rail system that is

available in Japan.

Hopefully, we will start a high speed rail system and allow the Europeans

and/or Japanese to help us with the work. I think it would provide a great

lift for the sagging economy and give much needed competition to the airlines.

Its long past time for mass transit systems. America's problems are its

growing dislike for communal activities and close contacts with each other,

and the fact that the Nations supplying support/credit to the United States

are concerned that America continues to use the borrowed monies/credit more

to fund the militiary and engagements than to use this credit to ensure

America's stability and infrastructure, now and for the future ...

Here's America bailing out one failed business after another, in which

massive fraud, preditory lending and other have defrauded the people, while

CEOs and investors received substantial profits and payouts, and for which

the taxpayers will now be required to fund and bolster. And those taxpayers

will be the lower and what's left of the blue-collar work force,,, those

unable to ship their investments overseas for tax "benefit" {evasion}...

Thank you, MEB for your thoughts. As you have mentioned, the U.S.A. aka the

States do indeed have their problems. Would you like to continue this

discussion via email or do you want our thoughts recorded for the whole world

to see?
