Hello, All!

I'm very new to XBOX. I don't know what it is? How we can play games using this? What are the minimum requirements to play games through XBOX? Is a full CPU needed? OR not?

Please tell me whole procedure to play games with XBOX.

Also can we play games with only XBOX and a LCD or Monitor? I mean without CPU?

Regards,

XBOX is a gaming console. You buy a game disk to play games. Nothing more then a TV or monitor is needed to do that. Although you might need an adaptor for a direct connection to a monitor.

However Xbox can do more.

With a connection to a computer you can get an Xbox Live account which you can play games with other people online as long as you have the game disk.

You can connect to your computer to access video and picture files which you can then view on your TV.

With the proper Live account you can message, Stream through Netflix and video conference with other Live users.

So although it is primarily a gaming console it is capable of doing more.

It's OK but why we have not needed heavy RAM and Graphic Card for XBOX? Also where games can be install? I mean we have neither hard disk nor RAM. So how we will play games using XBOX?

Suppose, I want to play Microsoft Age of Umpire then it needs to be install in our hard drive and after this we can play. So how will we play Age of Umpire in XBOX?

The console is all inclusive. You don't need a computer so the only thing you need is a TV. You run the game off of the disk. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox
