Micro Star motherboard

I am in need of a soundcard driver AC97 for a built in soundcard. It is for a HP media computer and the motherboard is a MicroStar, MS6506. 1.0. I have tried all of last night and the ones that I tried seem to lock up the computer. Most likely they were the wrong ones. Please could anyone help.

Also what is a PCI simple communications controler, as I also need one of them as well.
