W2k8 TS Application Help

I have an MRP application that works about 95% on 2008 TS. The MRP app has a

menu system and certain menu selections actually launch other .exe's - I am

having trouble where when making a menu selection that launches an exe, the

application appears to try and launch but then does nothing. I do not get an

errors, warnings, events, etc. The exe that is being launched is in a

trusted zone and I've allowed it in the Windows Firewall as well as just

turning the firewall off to test. I suspect my problem may be some security

feature or setting of W2k8 TS that is preventing the exe from launching.

Anyone with ideas on where or what to look for?

The same application does run and launch the menu exe's on a Windows Vista

PC. When the exe's launch, they require the user to authenticate to the app,

I don't get this authentication prompt or any activity on the Windows 2008

TS though. The application provider is not offering much help, so grasping

for straws....
