The case I purchased didn't come with any fans for air flow so I'm going to have to buy some. I know that there are 4 places to put fans that are as follows.

Front: 80/92/120mm

Back: 80/92mm

Side: 80mm and 100mm

I was wondering is anyone had any idea of how to set these up to create a good air flow plus the compatibility issues for the power and motherboard etc.

I'm running a 500w PSU at the moment.

Hello there.

As long as you buy the right sized fans with the correct connections you should be fine...

Your choice of fan would be either connection to the mainboard or like my setup my fans connect in a loop to the main power supply...

The first fan most people fit and connect is the back vent fan....

Your PSU size is fine as fans use very little power source.

Before buying fans manke sure there is space inside the tower to allow for the fitting of several fans.

Unless you have some big powerfull computer that needs extra cooling adding 1-2 extra fans is enough.

For better airflow inside a computer I use small cableties,I pin back any cables or tuck them behind the backplate and secure with cable ties.

Clean the internals of the computer regular and you should be fine.

Here is a How To Video for you:
