Are you sure you downloaded the right program because Recuva is FREE

It will find your files.

Hi Dougie / MissVG

I think you have bought the Priority Support £19-95.

This was not necessary.

You could try contacting them - explain that you were directed to their site and explain your situation.

See if they will give you a refund.

Alternatively, you could make use of the support that you have bought and ask if there is a way around the "corrupt" problem.

Just e-mailed them with the whole story. Luckly it's just this weeks work as I am in the habit of backing up once a week.

Thanks for advice, any other advice about how to fix corrupt files would be greatly received. Big glass of wine tonight me thinks!!!

The more you use the machine with the lost files on - the less chance you have of retreiving them.

If you have a second machine I suggest that you use that until you get further advice.

We are all guilty of not backing up important files - but yours is an example of why files that are needed should be backed up off the original hard drive.

Stable door syndrome. :)

Ken is spot on, Victoria.

As soon as you discover you have accidently deleted Files, don't use the Computer.

Windows writes over the Files and corrupts them.

Back Up, Back Up, Back Up.

Back Up Daily if the Files are very important.
