Hi,

I am just reading

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998123(EXCHG.65).aspx

that the following components of exchange have been backed up.

1) Boot and System state partition

2) System State

3) Exchange_Backup

This above are done using ntbackup.

We do full backups daily using Backup Exec 11d of the information store and

system state.

However, we don't do a backup of the Boot and System state parition.

Is what we do adequate?

Thankx

Re: Backup Question

Hello Vishal,

Minimum to restore your server is system state backup and ofcourse your echange

databases and logfiles. Backing up also the c-drive is recommended but not

needed.

Best regards
