Guest John Myren Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Hi all! We have set up a win2008ts with TS WEB Access and TS Gateway roles in the perimeter network. This is a domain member server. We have DC and TS2008 in LAN. We are using fixed port 24158 for WMI What ports should we open in our Firewall from the TS in WAN to the DC and to the TS in the LAN to let the necessary traffic trough the firewall? John
Guest Rob Leitman [MS] Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Re: What firewall ports to open for TS WEB Access and TS Gateway DMZ to LAN TS Web Access requires WMI access to the TS. TS Gateway requires RDP (port 3389) access to TS. Both roles need access to the DC to authenticate the user. You'll need port 88 for Kerberos and 53 for DNS.
