How to stop XP from trying to install Roxio at startup?

When I start up my Windows XP PC, Windows installer comes up and says

"Preparing to install" . . . . "Easy Media Creator" and I patiently have

to click away the continuing attempts to install it.

How do I stop this from happening, I don't care about Roxio - Thanks for

your help - IM

Use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

Did you actually run it by clicking start>programs>windows installer clean

up. Or did you just install it by double clicking on the setup file?

Have you recently ran any anti-malware applications right before this

problem started? If so which one. I have seen some anti-virus/anti-malware

software hit on a false positive and remove a needed Roxio file that will

cause that issue. If so my Remove-it software will fix it. You just have to

only install it and not run it to fix your issue, provided that is the

cause. Download it here http://pcbutts1.com/downloads/tools/tools.htm

I changed my name to stop the stalker from stalking me, are you now going to

take his place? Your reply has nothing to do with the question asked in this

thread what is the matter with you why are you starting trouble with me?

In article <ZyX9k.9412$cW3.8848@nlpi064.nbdc.sbc.com>, toidi@tpap.com

says...

BS, it was never an indication of who you were, I never looked at your

name in the posts, only the content of the body.

I don't look at or see names in messages, they are not shown in my

Usenet client.

You were stalking me, posting my name in EVERY message you posted to

Usenet, and that required me to defend my name.

Switch back to butts, I've seen a dozen of your posts and not replied to

any of them because you removed all my identity from your messages - and

as long as you keep from using my name or a likeness (even backwards) I

will not have to post in defense of my name. I've said this for more

than 2 years and you ignored it, stalking me with your posts.

Try it Chris - post as Butts, but leave my name out of your posts and

you won't have any replies from me - unless you make claims like you did

in this one.
