When you export your Address book as a .csv file, where does it go? I can't

find it.

You didn't specify what program you are using, but OE lets me pick a

location and name.

If nothing else, what did you name it? Can you search for it?

Or just search for *.csv. Can't be a ton of them on your C: drive.

It goes where you told the export utility to put it, under the name you gave

it (or accepted).

Re-run the export utility and watch for the location and filename.

Keep in mind that some of the folders that some mail programs use are

helpfully set to hidden, and may not be searched by the Windows search

utility.

Re: Export Address Book

Windows saved it to My Documents as a .csv file but the import command wants

a .WAB file.

Re: Export Address Book

Click on Import -> Other address book. You should see Text file (Comma Separated

Values) at the bottom of the list. Click on it and hit the Import button.

Navigate to your My Documents folder.

Good luck

Why ask HERE? XP does not have an address book file.

Ask elsewhere
