Guest tonyz.wrightz@consultant.com Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Hi, I am under the impression that there are limitations put on different Windows Server 2008 editions so that they can only handle a certain number of concurrent connections. Is this true? And if so, does anyone know where I might find this information? Regards, Tony
Guest Syed Khairuddin Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 RE: Windows Server 2008 Editions Hello, There are main two factors that might affect the concurrent connection. One is Client Access Licensing , the other is SMB (Server Message Block) setting. For Client Access licensing of Windows Server 2008, please refer to: Client Access Licensing http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/client-licensing.aspx As for SMB (Server Message Block) setting in Windows server 2008, I think there will be more relevant information published as Windows Server 2008 officially releases. For hardware and Different Feature sets please Refer the below link. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/editions-overview.aspx
