Guest Arjen Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 situation: windows 2003 active directory. users are set up with normal profile and terminal server profile. We have 2 windows 2003 terminal servers. User profile's are created/saved correctly. On our first windows 2008 terminal server we keep getting the message "you're user profile was not loaded correctly". Changes to the user profile are not saved.

Guest Arjen Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Re: Terminal server 2008; user profile not loaded correctly User should be able to log on to 2003 terminal server and 2008 terminal server. How do I deal with that? If I migrate the user profile's how does this effect the 2003 terminal server? "Vera Noest [MVP]" wrote: > User profile design has changed with Vista and Windows 2008. Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Re: Terminal server 2008; user profile not loaded correctly You'll have to give them 2 different profiles. One way to do that is by defining the profile path in a GPO, and have one GPO for each version of TS (I imagine that you need that anyway). _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ =?Utf-8?B?QXJqZW4=?= <Arjen@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote on 02 jul 2008 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > User should be able to log on to 2003 terminal server and 2008 > terminal server.
