Guest butch Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 i have had disk failure. bought a new disck and am trying to load win xp onto the the clean new disk. everything seems to go smoothly until it tries to reboot at which point it takes me back to the install screen with the message to 1. install, 2 repair, or 3 quit. if i take out the cd and reboot it does not find the disk. does not boot and tells me it has no disk.

If so, don't do that. P
