Guest bwrc Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Hi i am looking for something to manage the TS user connection. i want to setup a farm, but there is no standard NLB (server load...), just redirect le RDP connection according the user's login (a database which contains login/server). ex : many TS server connecting by DNS : TS.DOMAIN.LOCAL login1 thru the gateway always connect TS1 login2 thru the gateway always connect TS2 is this possible ? Thanks
Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Re: TS2003 and gateway per user You can use round-robin in your DNS to achieve this. i.e. have the entry TS.DOMAIN.LOCAL resolve to a list of all your Terminal Servers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Round_robin_DNS Note that if one of the TSx servers is down, users will still be referred to it. _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ "bwrc" <bwrc@free.Fr> wrote on 01 jul 2008 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > Hi > > i am looking for something to manage the TS user connection. > > i want to setup a farm, but there is no standard NLB (server > load...), just redirect le RDP connection according the user's > login (a database which contains login/server). > > ex : many TS server connecting by DNS : TS.DOMAIN.LOCAL > login1 thru the gateway always connect TS1 > login2 thru the gateway always connect TS2 > > is this possible ? > > Thanks
