Remote Desktop - Local Drives appear as SYSTEM FOLDER on host

Hi

When I use Remote Desktop to connect to a Windows Server 2003 (SP1) machine

from XP-SP2 machine My local drives appear on the Server machine as "System

Folder".

Access is via Internet both sides.

I can access other sites and do not have the problem. Connecting from

another site to the "problem server" also results in the local drives being

"System Folders" and cannot be accessed.

Please help

The term "System Folder" means nothing to me. Can you elaborate?

Re: Remote Desktop - Local Drives appear as SYSTEM FOLDER on host

Hi

Thanks for the response.

The proble was that my local drives were not displaying the drive letters,

the normal listing being:

\\remotePC-name\drive letter System Folder etc

I was not getting the drive letter displaying and was unable to access local

drives.

I was able to down the server eventually and that solved the problem.

Thanks again for taking an interest in helping me
