Guest serenejim Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Service pack 3-second problem. My "smooth" scrolling has gone. Scrolling now and deleting items in my mailbox produces a wave like movement down the screen. Previously the screen moved as one. I have checked everything I know with no results. Any suggestions? -- serenejim

Guest R. McCarty Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Re: "smooth" scrolling Use Tweak-UI, Explorer category to de-select, log off and verify the setting was retained. If so, re-enable. Also the problem may be due to the temporary loss of performance from a Service Pack install. When installed it purges the Layout.Ini/Performance files and the drive is left fragmented. Normally it takes several boot cycles for the system to get the volume defragged with layout.ini data. Otherwise, I'd check for a newer video driver. Service Packs sometimes require other components to be updated as well.
