Independent FTP Hosting for Projects

Hi all

Can anyone recommend an FTP hosting site/service for project documentation?

Our exchange server is getting swamped by the need to communicate large

drawing files, so I need a straight forward procedure for uploading drawings

to a third party server space.

Ideally I am looking for something which can be configured to give a

corporate "feel" rather than some toy-town setup with fixed advertising

banners etc. Also need to be able to password protect folders to restrict

access for each client IYSWIM.

Any recommendations please?

TIA

Phil

I'd start by asking your webhosting company whether they offer FTP

services - and ask your web designer to set up a portal/page. If this isn't

possible for some reason you might check out http://www.site5.com - one of my

clients is an architecture shop & needs FTP for the same reasons, and I

think they're going with that company's services.

I use, and am very satisfied with, http://www.pair.com and http://www.opensourcehost.com

for FTP hosting. HTH.
