Guest Bill Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I have a Windows Server 2003 running as a Terminal Server. I have an application that uses t hat Access 2000 runtime, and I am getting an error that I cannot install. All of the KB's I find seem to do with older versions of windows server. Can anyone help me with this?
Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Re: Access 2000 Runtime With Svr 2003 and TS Would you please elaborate on what you are doing, seeing, etc. Are you using the proper transform to install the runtime? You cannot simply install the 2000 runtime on the server without the proper transform just like the full blown office product. Guest Bill Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Re: Access 2000 Runtime With Svr 2003 and TS I have an application that uses the access 2000 runtime, when I try to install I get an error about not being to install on termeinal server and to see the ORK, the problem is that when I look to the instructions for using the transformer it seems as if it is on an older machine. (ie instructions to add/remove programs and click install, which I do not have that available to me) "Jeff Pitsch" wrote: > Would you please elaborate on what you are doing, seeing, etc. Are you > using the proper transform to install the runtime? Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Re: Access 2000 Runtime With Svr 2003 and TS you don't have add/remove programs avaialble to you? are you an administrator of the server? What server version are you using?
