Re: Desktop application in the local machine is not available logon

Logon once to the new domain then run regedt32.exe and navigate to;

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

locate the new profile SID and edit the Reg_Expand_Sz 'ProfileImagePath' to

point back to the old domain profile.

It appears we will need additional information to better assist you. Can you

provide the following:

1. Operating system version

2. The exact error message please.

3. Event viewer - please post all System and Application EventID's and

Source name please

4. Which application is in question

5. Is AD functional? Any errors in the DCs' event logs?

6. Can you post an *unedited* ipconfig /all of the workstation please?

Thank you,

Re: Desktop application in the local machine is not available logo

1. Using windows xp professional

2. No errors appear

3. Event viewer has no errors

4. Particularly in C++ program running in local machine

5. AD is functional very well.

I tried to copy the local users profile to domain profile. I found all the

programs but in particular C++ is not running. The error 'DISK FULL NOT

ENOUGH SWAP SPACE!"
