Guest Lee M. Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 I am using release 7.5 with a Radeon 9600XT card (XP Home, SP2). Is there any benefit to going to a later release (current is 8.6)? I don't play games and the only video is Windows media and You Tube.

Guest DL Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Re: ATI CAT drivers Its working? If so why update And then if you must, use ATI site or your PC maker if OEM or Laptop - NOT winupdate "Lee M." <lmacmil@forget_it.com> wrote in message news:17CdnYxze51K6_LVnZ2dnUVZ_v_inZ2d@comcast.com... >I am using release 7.5 with a Radeon 9600XT card (XP Home, SP2). However, it could introduce new bugs. I cannot go to the latest release because that means a couple of games won't play correctly. I have to test which release of their video driver will work best with all my applications. I went to the latest version but had problems. I backed off to a prior major release and the problems went away. I then tried each incremental (minor) version until I ran into the problems and then backed off one minor version to the latest prior version that worked well for me.

Common were those selling food and other supplies in the gold rush days. In this case, its oil and its everyone who bites the bullet. And most everyone has no gold to be made, just business as usual.
