Guest Michelle Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 In "User Accounts" on Windows XP, I currently have a user named John who is a "Computer Administrator". I'd like to change this account to "Limited", but it's greyed out, so I can't even select "Limited" as an option. Also, I don't even see a user that is named "Administrator". How do change user "John" from "Computer Administrator" to "Limited" ?

Right click on My Computer icon, select Manage and open node Local users and groups. In groups find the Administrators group. Double click it and remove the user from that group.
