Hi, I`m fowarding this on for a friend that asked if I could help with this

problem.

Few days ago I had a problem in my PC I am writing the details of my

problem. My PC XP home sp2 was infected with a trojen, `Astry` and `Rok

brontok` now clean. But my problem is that in My computer

under "Tools" menu when I open "folder options" & then select "View" option

& under this option all the menu items are written in some Chinese/Korean

like

language not in English language I know the spy did this.

I`ve been into the Control Panel Then set Regional And language Options but

this made no difference Any ideas on how to fix this?

And how did you cleaned the machine Kim?

Did you run disk cleanup and this command:

sfc /scannow

HTH.

Re: language changed after virus

Once your PC is infected with a computer virus or worm, your

computer becomes compromised and nothing less than a reinstallation

of the operating system is going to work. Yes, you can try

to scan and eliminate the initial virus, but you generally

cannot undo the damage caused by the virus to the system

files. You'll need to reformat your hard drive and then

reinstall your Windows operating system.

After restoring your system, consider installing a good

antivirus program, such as Windows OneCare. You can

try it absolutely FREE for 90 days.
