Guest skimax1 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Getting following error message when booting up. Error loading C:\progra~1mywebs~1\bar\1.bin\m3plugin.dll. I have run XSpy and deleted any reference to mywebspace, which no longer shows up when querying Windows Explorer--yet the error message persists. How do I get ride of the error message? Many thanks for any help.

Guest Doug Knox - [MS-MVP] Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Re: My web space Additionally, if HiJack This doesn't remove the remaining registry entries, see http://www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Startup Programs Tracker to determine where this DLL is trying to load from. The included Help will give you the information necessary to remove the startup item from the registry or file system. -- Doug Knox, MS-MVP Windows Media Center\Windows Powered Smart Display\Security Win 95/98/Me/XP Tweaks and Fixes http://www.dougknox.com -------------------------------- Per user Group Policy Restrictions for XP Home and XP Pro http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_securityconsole.htm -------------------------------- Please reply only to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
