Since doing a fresh reinstallation of XP some of the keys on my

keyboard produce a different symbol on the screen than they are

supposed to i.e. a @ is actually a " and vice-versa.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Many thanks

Paul

You must make sure that the Windows language you specify

agrees with your keyboard layout. It's one of the questions

that pop up during the installation process. Check the Control

Panel / Regional Settings.
