Running Kaspersky 2011 and firewall "disappeared"

The firewall is not appearing on "protection centre" - "online security".No icon.

 

Normally the AV works fine except when I went to Juba and then counldn't surf or even open yahoo. Tried Syst Restore, no change.

 

Now back home; no firewall and still have troubles with notification " cannot connect to server" or "cannot find server".

 

Open to suggestions! thanks
