i recently bought a

Gateway - Desktop / Intel® Core™ i5 Processor / 8GB Memory / 1TB Hard Drive

and i found out that it came with an awful graphics card. I enjoy playing games and I'm really looking forward to Battlefield 3. If anyone could recommend a graphics card that can play battlefield 3 on med-high settings that would be great. A card around $120 :confused:would be great. Also the graphics card has to be compatible with the PC. If anyone could recommend a site to buy graphics cards from would also be appreciated.

Battlefield 3 predicted recommended specs:

  • Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
  • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPURAM 4GB
  • Video Card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, GeForce GTX 460, Radeon Radeon HD 6850

Hi and welcome.

Take a look here:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-graphics-card,2964.html

Depending on the card you select you may need to upgrade the PSU too.

Your specs do not list the Power Supply Unit rating ( in Watts ).

You can find this on a sticker on the unit itself if you take a look - It will probably be in the range 350W

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
