mikeneedshelp Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 i recently bought a Gateway - Desktop / Intel® Core™ i5 Processor / 8GB Memory / 1TB Hard Drive http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Gateway+-+Desktop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i5+Processor+/+8GB+Memory+/+1TB+Hard+Drive/2632043.p?id=1218341072045&skuId=2632043 and i found out that it came with an awful graphics card. I enjoy playing games and I'm really looking forward to Battlefield 3. If anyone could recommend a graphics card that can play battlefield 3 on med-high settings that would be great. A card around $120 :confused:would be great. Also the graphics card has to be compatible with the PC. If anyone could recommend a site to buy graphics cards from would also be appreciated. Battlefield 3 predicted recommended specs: Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version OS: Windows 7 64-bit Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPURAM 4GB Video Card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, GeForce GTX 460, Radeon Radeon HD 6850 Quote
KenB Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Hi and welcome. Take a look here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-graphics-card,2964.html Depending on the card you select you may need to upgrade the PSU too. Your specs do not list the Power Supply Unit rating ( in Watts ). You can find this on a sticker on the unit itself if you take a look - It will probably be in the range 350W Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
