I am using Windows XP 2004 Media. As I understand it is the same as

proffesional.

 

Whenever I attempt to find localhost in I.E. I get HTTP 500 Internal Server

Error. Website cannot display this page. I am check to see if Internet

Information Services is functioning.

 

I uninstalled and then re-installed IIS. Rebooted the computer and still it

cannot find http://localhost.

 

Any suggestions so that I can see the local host would be greatly

appreciated.
