Why is it that every time I boot up my desktop PC I lose my internet connection? I have a home network consisting of Xbox (wired), smart TV (wired), laptop wireless, and the PC (wired). This only happens when booting up the PC. My router is ZyXEL supplied by the PO my ISP. This didn't used to occur but now happens every time whether other devices are powered or not. PC windows XP/laptop W7.

Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Cheers

Hi and welcome to ExTS

Try uninstalling and re-installing the drivers for the Network Adapter.

or

If you have updated these recently roll back to an earlier version.

Start > Run ....type in .....devmgmt.msc ....ENTER

Make a note of what is listed against Network Adapters.

If you right click on the device .....you have options there.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

MiniToolBox

Network Test

Wireless Test
