RE: memory

I might need to clarify that the memory I am talking about is what is

installed in the computer.

Why ask HERE? This is a pure hardware question that has absolutely

NOTHING to do with XP.

Ask elsewhere

A program such as Everest Home Edition should give you that information.

EVEREST Free Edition 2.20

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

Once you've got the program up and running, click on Motherboard in the left

hand column. You'll find detailed info on your RAM under SPD.

Good luck

Re: memory

If you go to http://WWW.crucial.com

they have a program that will look at the memory on your computer and give

you the vital info about how much you have and what you can add. They are

reputable and sell high quality memory.

Re: memory

Did you ever try to run XP without memory?

NO, but trying to identify a memory card has NOTHING to do with the

OS.
