etavares Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Your computer is working very hard. Those temperatures are too high. The CPU usage is also extremely high at 42%. Something is tying up your system resources. If it is a game, then you may need a new computer as this only appear to be a single core processor and newer games often require dual or quad core. Ditto if you are running a statistical analysis or some sort of model. You can try to clean your case and improve airflow, switch to a water cooling system, or upgrade your system. If the high CPU usage is NOT related to the game (you can check via Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc)), then you could have a virus. If the game is using that much...time to stop playing that game or upgrade your system. -etavares Quote etavares is a member of:Alliance of Security Analysis ProfessionalsUnified Network of Instructors and Trained Eliminators
sheavi Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 thanks so much for replaying i`m so sad that there is no solution for my computer as i need to buy a new computer but please help me if i get a good power supply and a new processor like dual core e5700 the computer will be better ???? or i must change all things and please know that i don't have much money to buy a new computer i only can update it or upgrade it by buying processor or power supply or something like that please answer me again and thanks for your looking Quote
RandyL Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 New processor. New vid card. New fans. etc. Why bother? By the time you replace EVERYTHING YOU NEED you would be better off buying a new computer rather then spend money on a system that has a soon to be oudated operating system. By the way why do you have two seperate threads going on the same issue? This is not allowed. http://extremetechsupport.com/threads/12143-please-help-me Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. sheavi Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 thanks for replaying at first i`m sorry for writing 2 threads in the same issue but i needed to know to solve my computer problems and sorry again and please help me in this case what do you think about selling my mother board : msi g13 p21 and sell my rams : 2 GB king stone and another one in 1 GB Ram and with this money and i will put a little money on it and I will buy a new mother board in DDR3 with 1 ram 2 GB king stone DDR3 and i will buy CPU : Dual Core E5700 with 2 mega cash and buy power supply HEC 300 W and i have HDD and DVD and Case and VGA Card what do you think about that? and please tell me the array and the steps i mean that what should i do at first and second and so on and sorry again for the thread Quote
RandyL Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 selling my mother board : msi g13 p21 and sell my rams : 2 GB king stone and another one in 1 GB Ram No value there so that's a wash. Not sure about your card but if it's old it's probably junk. DDR3 with 1 ram 2 GB king stone DDR3-4gb $45 Dual Core E5700-$65 HEC 300 W-Not much power there-$35-better power supply $45 Cheap graphics card-$75-better card $150 Replacement fans-$30 OK so let's figure your up to $345 so far. But wait we aren't done yet. You just put in a new board. You have to install Windows. And no a restore or recovery disk will not work with a new board. So you need to purchase a new OS. Since ALL support for XP ends soon let's rule that out and go with Windows 7 Home Premium. Cost-$120 OK now your up to $465 so far. But wait we aren't done yet. If you're running one of those old 40gb drives you'll need a a bigger one. You need about 20gb just for Windows 7 alone. So let's add at least another $50. Now you are up to $515. For that price or less (down to $300) you can buy a new computer that's better except that it will have good onboard graphics instead of a card and Windows 7 will be on it already. what do you think about that? Not much I'm afraid as I've just explained. and please tell me the array and the steps i mean that what should i do at first and second and so on Considering what you want to do check out this link. How to Build a Computer So the bottom line is that you need to spend the money to do it right or you not going to get the results you need. You can't just throw a couple dollars at a couple things and hope for the best. It just won't work. Especially if you want to use the computer for games. If gaming is the issue check out Xbox for under $200. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
