Greytabby Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 hey everyone... here is a small tutorial i wrote with instructions on how to use Gimp to put captions on photos... also here is an example of a photo i did...to give you an idea...i hope it is ok that i post this photo as an example.. thanks for letting me post... and i welcome corrections.. greytabby..(kat) here is a link to gimp download.. it is free.. Gimp http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w140/Greytabby2007/pupdentures.jpg 1. bring up gimp 2. select file 3. select pic. 4. open 5. click the black A for text. 6. choose font, size, color etc... 7. click on photo where you want the text. 8. a text box pops up. 9. type in text. 10. click file on photo. 11. save as. 12. name photo. 13. select file type...for example jpeg. then save 14. a box will pop up saying you need to export the image. 15. click export. 16. then save 17. then go to photobucket and upload and etc....
