So i did a system restore the other day and i went to eject a disk while in

the middle of the restoration process and i accidentally hit the power button

and now i have nothing on my desktop like icons or a start menu, when i log

on to a a user account i get a error message of WININ somthin but i have

nothing what do i do?

Do a further System Restore to before you messed up your last attempt at

restoring?

I cant do a system restore because i have nothing on my desktop. How can i

get to system restore with those error codes

Star System Restore from Task Manager:

 

Press CTL-ALT-DEL

Click File

Select New Task (Run)

Type %SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Click OK
