Guest JJ Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I have installed Norton Internet Security 2008 last week and now every time I run Disk Defrag it indicates that not all file could be defragmented. Why and how do I fix it? Thanks -- jj

Guest Jean Rosenfeld Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Re: Disk Defrag & NIS 2008 NIS is probably set to protect its own files, and won't allow your defragger to move them.. I don't have NIS but NAV 2008, and there is an option to uncheck that. If you can find the same optionin NIS try rthat, see if its files can now be moved in defrag. I was not able to find it in NIS. -- jj "Jean Rosenfeld" wrote: > NIS is probably set to protect its own files, and won't allow your defragger > to move them.. Guest Jean Rosenfeld Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Re: Disk Defrag & NIS 2008 In NAV 2008, it is in Borton Antivirus tab, Settings/Norton Antivirus options/ General settings 'turn on protection for Norton Products': uncheck that box., click apply.
