Guest Ellen Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 my taskbar has moved to the left side, vertical position, I want to move it back to the bottom of the page, horizontial. When I turned on the computer it came up this way, don't know why or how.
Guest neil Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Re: taskbar You should be able to click & drag it back to where you want it. If it wont move then right click on the taskbar & unselect "Lock the Taskbar". To move it from any side to another, simply click on an unused part of it and drag it where you want it. Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge; clicking on the edge and dragging will resize it. If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again. The way it got to the side is that you accidentally dragged it there. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup
