Guest Nate Rosenthal Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 In doing some cleaning up of my hard disk, I appear to have eliminated some updates that I probably. When I go to Microsoft and run an automatic updating, it shows only one file that is critical (Frameworks.Net) and it won't install the update unless the original file is there. I already know that I need to download at least 1.1 for that to work. When I go to System Information, it is saying that SP3 is installed, but it appears that things that might have come with SP2 are not there, such as Movie Maker and I am guessing a few other things. Should I be reinstalling SP2. Will it do so with SP3 already on. Can I uninstall SP3 and work my way up from SP1? Should I uninstall Windows and start from scratch?

Write down what .NET Framework versions are already installed before you go uninstalling/removing any of them!
