Guest tommyvin Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I deleted the Show Desktop button from the Quick Launch by mistake. How can I get the icon back again? I went to http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=190355 and followed all the steps but instead of an icon appearing on the desktop only a small .scf note appeared. I have Windows XP and IE7. The instructions in the Microsoft support article above stated that the steps could be used with IE6. This is not an important problem because I can of course right click in the Taskbar and click Show the Desktop. But I've now put some time in trying to solve the puzzle and I'd like to find a solution.
