Guest danika Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I am trying to install an old app that uses an InstallShield installer created in 1998 on a new Win XPSP2 computer. I have done this same install on another Win XPSP2 computer and it worked just fine. However, when I click on Setup.exe, I get a message "c:\temp\setup.exe path not found". I tried setting an environment variable using the DOS command path = %PATH%;c\temp\ but I'm still getting the same error. Also, I don't think this problem has anything to do with the Windows temp directory. I have tried doing the install from other directories, for example, c:\mydir\, and in that case the message says "c:\mydir\setup.exe path not found".
