hi peeps,

new to this game and have not got a clue to why i have 78 internet explorers come up on the desk top,

The last person to use the pc was my 9 year old daughter and she keeps changing her desktop background, could she have caused this problem by doing this or has she downloaded something she should'nt of ?? and plus when you shut down the pc it just restarts itself instead of turning off.

Is there anyway that i can fix this myself??

thanks for reading

Do you know which version of Internet Explorer you are using? It should be version8 if the machine is running XP, however if an earlier number than 8 it should be updated as I think around IE5, there was some instability that caused multiple windows to open, I know I suffered at that time.

Nev.
