Guest Aaron Tech Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I have a Windows 2008 TS. The client minimzes an application or leaves an app idle for a while, they have to wait a while after they click on it to reactivate it. It says that it is reconnecting. It is really annoying. Is there a way to get rid of that setting? I have been in the RDP properites and set disconct, idle, etc to 'never' Any suggestions?
Guest Brad Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 RE: Reconnecting We just had a similar issue with our new HP T5730 clients using XP Embedded. The production users were not using the main application for a while and I found that the wireless card (a broadcomm) was putting itself to sleep. Whenever the user would return to the machine, it would say that it was reconnecting and restart the session. Under advanced options of the wireless card, under power options, I disabled the option and this seemed to work. Hopefully this might help you too.
