Guest Brad Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 We need to test out a new license server. Is there a way to "kill" the currently-issued license on a thin client? Thanks for the information.
Guest Juan Perez Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Re: Terminating a license on a thin client Hi: I am afraid you can not revoke the license. You have to reinstall the TS license server or wait between 54 and 89 days to recover the issued license. -- Un Saludo Juan Perez "Brad" <Brad@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8FD33DFA-1CF2-4B70-8DA8-D899F3C91511@microsoft.com... > We need to test out a new license server. Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Re: Terminating a license on a thin client Depends on the thin client. Some brands have a meny choice to delete the locally stored license from the client. If your thin client doesn't have that choice. then you can achieve the same result by resetting the thin client to the factory defaults. _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ =?Utf-8?B?QnJhZA==?= <Brad@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote on 14 jul 2008 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > We need to test out a new license server.
