why when I organize my icons/files in a folder , close it and then open it

again my files are messed up - I mean - the view and sort by are not like

I set them.

any help

Hard to say....without more information - Run Save Settings on Exit from

line 54 (right hand side) from:

did not work

my files are on pendrive

I set them to icon view, sort by type

what else do you need to know to fix it ?

any suggestions welcome

Just follow its directions. If you want to master folder views too, just ask.

thanks for help

I tried once again to change view without using any other programs (e.g.

fvm3)

this time I clicked on tools/folder options/view/ and "apply to all

olders" - to my surprise it worked and my folders do not change view

anymore

I still do not know why it did not worked without it ? especially that I was

dealing with only one specific folder
