Do you tell us to call a phone number for support with trojans

I got a verbal warning on my computer from Windows Defender security center telling me I had a trojan. I had no control of my mouse. The warning said to call a phone number for help and don't turn off my computer. I called. The Indian guy fixed the computer, downloaded a few programs like Network Security, JRT, RKILL for protections. He went through my computer, set up permanent remote control-which I think I turned off, and wants to do a monthly check on the computer. He offered a lifetime of protection from trojans on all my devices for $1579.99 It seems like he added protections but wouldn
