Guest Meinolf Weber Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Re: physical memory in windows 2003 std 32bit Hello Frodo, Windows 2003 Standard Edition supports maximum RAM up to 4 GB. If you like to use more then upgrade to Enterprise Edition or use 64 bit version to get the full 4GB running. Guest Frodo Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Re: physical memory in windows 2003 std 32bit Hi Meinolf, Thanks for the reply but I thought the limitation can be overwritten with additional switch in boot.ini? Just to ensure again. Thanks again. Guest Meinolf Weber Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Re: physical memory in windows 2003 std 32bit Hello Frodo, No, then they wouldn't need Enterprise edition for using more RAM. :-) Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. ** Please do NOT email, only reply to Newsgroups ** HELP us help YOU!!! http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm > Hi Meinolf, > > Thanks for the reply but I thought the limitation can be overwritten > with > additional switch in boot.ini? > Just to ensure again. > Thanks again. > > "Meinolf Weber" <meiweb(nospam)@gmx.de> wrote in message > news:ff16fb66a3ac58cab49b99901e91@msnews.microsoft.com... > >> Hello Frodo, >> >> Windows 2003 Standard Edition supports maximum RAM up to 4 GB.
