re: unexpected task bar change

Has anyone encountered a change in the color of the taskbar, it has always

been blue and now is a shade of gray. I have checked the task bar and start

menu properties dialoge box to see if someone change settings and I do not

see any option to change the taskbar color in general. How do I get it back

to it's original state ?

You could use System Restore to revert to a date before the change, but

it might be easier to open Display Properties, Appearance tab, click

Advanced button, "Item: Active Title Bar", change the colors to Deep

blue for Color 1, and a lighter blue for Color 2.

Or open Display Properties, Themes tab, and load the Windows XP Theme.
