Guest ChrisRob Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Hello everyone, I currently am load balancing two windows server 2003 enterprise edition terminal server using DNS round robin. I notice that one of my servers tends to have more traffic. Probably becuase it's the original TS and people are still using their old RDP shortcut. We are a small company so free is ideal, but is there a better way or any other suggestions to help even this out? Thanks in adance for your expertise. Thank you, Chris

Guest ChrisRob Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Re: Load Balancing two Terminal Servers Well, i made a mistake, one of my servers is running 2003 standard. Am I able to upgrade/crossgrade to enterprise? Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Re: Load Balancing two Terminal Servers I'm not sure, I believe that you would need to install the server from scratch. But you can use WLB with any version of the OS. _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ =?Utf-8?B?Q2hyaXNSb2I=?= <ChrisRob@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote on 17 jul 2008 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > Well, i made a mistake, one of my servers is running 2003 > standard.
