Guest Freddie Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 after Buying a HP server with 2008 windows server and 40 Cals, customer wants to buy the same Hardware for disastery recovery. if my First Server failes I want to bring the other server and be up and running within some given time (one Hour). the software company that has DuableTake does not support Windows 2008 standard. any suggestions? this is thier AD and DNS and Fileserver and running some Proasive SQL data base programs thanks Freddie

For the file server you can use domain based DFS so you can have on both machines the same folders/files located.
