Windows Defender Antivirus Update on Windows 11 won't work error code 0x80070643

Another person has asked this before but there weren't any useful replies that I found. Anyway, this issue started a few months back when I was getting the error code 0x80070643 each time I tried updating the anti-virus on the Windows Defender. Now all I get is Engine Unavailable. I have found lots of suggestions for Windows 10 &11 and tried a few of them, but nothing seems to work. I'm getting really frustrated because all my efforts to try and fix it ends up being futile plus I feel like my laptop is now vulnerable to threats... Can someone help me please... it would be highly appreciate
