Guest l.rehak@email.cz Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 When I want to select a folder and go there I have to use the left mouse button and double click. But sometimes I click sooner than the cursor is on the desired folder and the cursor movement meanwhile moves the near-by folder into the other one. Which could be a big problem in a business directory tree!! How can I change the default behaviour of the drag&drop with left mouse button in Windows Explorer? Any updated idea? I can not find any good advice on the Net..
Guest Martin C Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Re: How to change move on drag&drop in Windows Explorer Not sure if this is what you are after, but you could do the following: Go into Windows Explorer and select Tools/FolderOptions. On the General tab, select the "Single-click to open an item (point to select)" radio option. This will prevent the problem you are describing. Guest 3c273 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Re: How to change move on drag&drop in Windows Explorer If you don't like Martin's solution, (I don't like single click), you can download TweakUI from MS and change the drag sensitivity of the mouse.
