I thought though that a Microsoft person would respond to this call as part of my Technet subscription? Or I'm I wrong? No. That is a different set of non-private groups that you have to use a login to get to them. When I had Technet I was never able to even find them and MS does not make a clear distiction between those groups and these public one when they talk about it. As Meinolf said,..some MS employees do hang out here,...but they are doing it "on thier own". -- Phillip Windell http://www.wandtv.com The views expressed, are my own and not those of my employer, or Microsoft, or anyone else associated with me, including my cats. -----------------------------------------------------

Guest DD Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Re: Account is not authorised to login from this station domain administrator a/c , even though create a temp folder with everyone access, can't map to that folder also. can's map to all the share folder in member server from DC. Suspect some setting not correct in security option - LAN manager authentication currently set to use NTLMv2 SESSION SECURITY IF NEGOTIATED.
